Omega B Fuel Computer Programming Service (applies to all Vauxhall Omega) The Vauxhall Omega, now out of production, came fitted with several variants of display mounted in the dashboard. Most simply displayed time, temperature and radio station information from the standard audio system. A common fault on these displays is that they are prone to pixel failure as they get older and most are not repairable. In turn they are replaced with others from scrap cars and so programming becomes an issue. This page offers a programming service for Omega fuel computers, using a real Vauxhall Tech1 diagnostic tester. I have spent some time sifting through Vauxhall TIS and compiled the following tables of memory idents and their correlation to engines in the range. Click here for the full list in MS-Excel format, and here for the list applicable to UK models. I can reprogramme Omega fuel computers only for standard programmes at the moment using Tech1 (I have one of these). I do it mainly as a favour to members of CavWeb, MigWeb and Club Calibra and as you will see I don't exactly earn a living out of it. Standard programmes are relatively easy to provide, but I'm considering working on the ability to provide non-standard programmes for Omegas that have been fitted with different wheels and tyres if there is enough interest.
