Astra F Fuel Computer Programming (applies to Mk3 Astra) The Astra Mark3, otherwise known as Astra-F had a fuel computer fitted to a select few models at the top of the range. While it was a factory option, in fact the computer was only really fitted to GSI and Sport models in the UK. Vauxhall produced programmes for all engines though, so now as these computers are being removed from accident damaged cars it's possible to fit them into other Astras and re-programme them to work in those. I have spent some time sifting through Vauxhall TIS and compiled the following tables of memory idents and their correlation to engines in the range. Click here for the full list in MS-Excel format, and here for the list applicable to UK models. I can reprogramme fuel computers both for standard programmes using Tech1 (I have one of these) and for non-standard configurations. I do it mainly as a favour to members of CavWeb, MigWeb and Club Calibra and as you will see I don't exactly earn a living out of it. Standard programmes are relatively easy to provide, but I've recently been working on the ability to provide non-standard programmes for Astras that have been fitted with V6 or turbo engines.
